Dexa Medica has been awarded the 2025 Industrial Technology Pioneer Award (Rintek) in the category of Technology Pioneer Evaluation Results by the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia. The award recognizes the success of Inlacin, an Indonesian Original Modern Medicine for diabetes, as a clinically proven global innovation product.

The award was presented by the Minister of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, to Professor Raymond Tjandrawinata, Business Development and Scientific Affairs Director of PT Dexa Medica, during the Indonesia 4.0 Conference and Expo 2025 held on Wednesday, 17 September 2025, at the Jakarta International Convention Center.

This achievement marks the third Rintek Award received by Dexa Medica, following previous awards in 2019 and 2021 for Inlacin and HerbaAsimor. The award serves as the government’s recognition of national industry players that have successfully developed technological innovations to strengthen business processes and enhance the independence of the domestic industry.

According to Professor Raymond Tjandrawinata, the Minister of Industry personally congratulated the entire management of Dexa Medica on this achievement. In his remarks, the Minister emphasized that Indonesia requires strategic steps to accelerate the formation of a digital transformation ecosystem to ensure that the manufacturing industry becomes increasingly innovative and globally competitive.

“Indonesia, as a large nation rich in natural resources, has not yet maximized the adoption and implementation of innovation to drive economic growth. However, six key indicators show short-term improvements, ranging from scientific publications, research and development investment, the number of international patents, digital connectivity, the use of robotics, to labor productivity,” stated the Minister.

Professor Raymond Tjandrawinata expressed his gratitude to all contributors behind this recognition. “Through their hard work in pioneering technology, conducting research, and validating the findings, Dexa Medica has earned this acknowledgment from the government. This is not only an honor for Indonesia but also an opportunity for Dexa Medica to be recognized globally,” he said.

The 2025 Rintek Award was presented to 15 companies across five categories: Technology Pioneer Evaluation Results, Technology Innovation, Industrial Manufacturing Product Technology, Industrial Manufacturing Process Technology, and Industrial Service Technology. Since its inception in 2006, the Rintek Award has entered its 17th year, with a total of 136 pioneering technology titles from 89 companies recognized.
