Dexa Medica has once again affirmed its role as a pioneer in Indonesia’s pharmaceutical industry through an award presented by the National Agency of Drug and Food Control (BPOM) of the Republic of Indonesia. The BPOM Achievement Award 2026 in the category of Pioneer with the Highest Number of Phytopharmaceutical Products in Indonesia was presented by the Head of BPOM RI, Prof. Dr. Taruna Ikrar, to the President Director of PT Dexa Medica, Mr. V. Hery Sutanto. The award ceremony took place during the Inauguration of BPOM’s 25th Anniversary Commemoration at the BPOM RI Merah Putih Building in Jakarta on Saturday, January 31, 2026.

This award was granted as a form of BPOM’s appreciation for Dexa Medica’s tangible contributions as a national pharmaceutical company that consistently promotes the development of scientifically researched natural medicine innovations through phytopharmaceutical products.

The President Director of PT Dexa Medica, Mr. V. Hery Sutanto, expressed his gratitude for the BPOM Achievement Award 2026.

“We are grateful for BPOM’s trust in Dexa Medica through this award. This achievement serves as a reminder of our commitment to developing science-based natural medicines. We will continue to strengthen research, maintain quality standards, and contribute meaningfully to achieving national pharmaceutical independence. Happy 25th Anniversary to BPOM,” said Mr. V. Hery Sutanto.

Meanwhile, Dexa Medica’s Business Development and Scientific Affairs Director, Prof. Raymond Tjandrawinata, stated that the development of natural medicines through Integrative Modern Natural Medicine (OMAI) has been carried out by Dexa Medica since the establishment of the Dexa Laboratories of Biomolecular Sciences (DLBS) in 2005. This initiative has resulted in phytopharmaceutical products such as Stimuno, Inlacin, Redacid, and Disolf.

“Through the continuous development of phytopharmaceutical products, Dexa Medica strives to make a meaningful contribution to the national healthcare system while expanding public access to innovative and high-quality therapeutic options,” explained Prof. Raymond Tjandrawinata.

According to BPOM data, there are 18 registered phytopharmaceutical product marketing authorizations (NIE), of which Dexa Group holds 15.

1,589 Participants Joined Dexa Group’s Free Health Check Program

As part of the BPOM 25th Anniversary celebration series, Dexa Group, through Dharma Dexa, participated by hosting a Free Health Check booth. The program was held from January 28–31, 2026, at Booth Zone A (Sarnafil 1–4), providing services including blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, and uric acid testing, body mass index (BMI) measurement, and Lyoven multivitamin injections.

During the four-day program, a total of 1,589 participants took part in the health screenings, while 385 participants received Lyoven multivitamin injections.

In his remarks at the BPOM 25th Anniversary Inauguration, Prof. Dr. Taruna expressed appreciation to the 119 participating booths. “BPOM’s 25th anniversary is a milestone toward greater goals and commitments to safeguard the quality of medicines and food products in preparation for Indonesia’s Golden Generation 2045,” said Prof. Dr. Taruna.
