Indication

Siran Forte are indicated as adjuvant treatment in certain clinical conditions characterized by the presence of thick and viscous mucoid or mucopurulent secretions e.g.: chronic bronchopulmonary disease (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, emphysema with bronchitis, chronic asthma bronchitis, bronchiectasis); acute bronchopulmonary disease (asthma with bronchial mucous plugging, bronchitis, bronchopneumonia, tracheobronchitis, bronchiolitis, pulmonary complication associated with surgery).

Each effervescent tablet contains n-acetylcysteine 600 mg

Precaution

The sulphur odor does not indicate, deterioration of the product, but is due to the active ingredient.

Dosage

Acute treatment

Adults:
Siran Forte 1 tablet one time daily for 5-10 days.

Chronic treatment

Adults:
Siran Forte 1 tablet one time daily for 1-2 months. A 6 months period is required to obtain the maximum benefit e.g. in prevention of chronic bronchitis exacerbations, but substantial symptomatic improvement is usually already noticeable in 1-2 months.
