Indication

Precaution
  • Do not exceed the recommended dose.
  • Should not be used in patients who are sensitive to other sympathomimetic drugs (e.g., ephedrine, phenylpropranolamine HCl, phenylephrine HCl), patients with severe high blood pressure, and who are receiving monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) antidepressant therapy.
  • Should be used with caution in patients with high blood pressure or who have potentiality to develop high blood pressure or stroke, such as patients with overweight or elderly patients.
  • If within 3 days common cold symptoms do not subside, contact your doctor or health care facilities immediately.
  • This drug may cause drowsiness.

Dosage

Children 6–12 years of age

½ tablet, every 6–8 hours. Maximum dose is 2 tablets in 24 hours.

Adults and children ≥12 years of age

1 tablet, every 6–8 hours. Maximum dose is 4 tablets in 24 hours.
