In the healthcare industry, public trust is not built overnight. It grows through consistent quality assurance, adherence to standards, and contributions that are tangibly felt by society. As demands for transparency continue to rise, healthcare companies are expected not only to deliver good products, but also to establish accurate and responsible communication.
For more than five decades, Dexa Group has embraced the philosophy Expertise for the Promotion of Health as the foundation for developing science-based innovations while strengthening its role within the national healthcare ecosystem. This principle aligns with the spirit of The Reflection of Quality, which positions quality not merely as an operational standard, but as a value reflected in every process and in communication with the public.
This consistency has once again received recognition through the Indonesia Public Relations Awards 2026 from Warta Ekonomi, held in January 2026 marked as Dexa Group’s eighth award as well as the PR Indonesia Awards 2026, held in February 2026 in Yogyakarta. For Dexa Group, this recognition is seen as part of a long-standing journey to maintain professional standards and communication quality in the healthcare sector.
At the PR Indonesia Awards, Dexa Group has cumulatively received ten award categories. Prior to 2026, the company earned six awards, and at the PR Indonesia Awards 2026 in Yogyakarta it added four more categories: Gold Winner for Social Responsibility Communication Program (Community-Based Development), Gold Winner for Owned Media (Internal Magazine), as well as Bronze Winner for PR Program (Corporate PR) and Digital Channel (Website). The Indonesia Public Relations Awards 2026 was previously presented to the Head of Corporate Communications of Dexa Group, Mr. Sonny Himawan, on January 28, 2026, in Jakarta.
CEO of PR INDONESIA Group, Asmono Wikan, stated that this awards momentum highlights the increasingly vital role of communication in supporting credible organizational governance. With a total of 534 entries across various categories, the competition reflects the growing attention of communication practitioners to quality and sustainability.
According to him, strengthening public trust requires cross-sector collaboration among government, the business sector, academia, and communities. Professionalism and ethics serve as the foundation to ensure that communication in the healthcare sector remains accurate and responsible.
Therefore, Mr. Asmono added that every category awarded went through a rigorous judging process by experts in the field of communication who understand the highest standards of the public relations profession, assessing entries from strategic, critical, and objective perspectives.
The judges included President of PR Society Magdalena Wenas; Associate Professor Janet Maria Pinariya of the LSPR Institute of Communication and Business; CEO of PR INDONESIA Group Asmono Wikan; COO of Burson Indonesia Harry Deje; CEO of Kiroyan Partners Verlyana Hitipeuw; Maria R. Nindita Radyati of the Institute for Sustainability and Agility (ISA); and Sustainability and Communications Expert Melina Karamoy.
The assessment was conducted comprehensively, covering strategic sharpness, issue relevance, tangible public impact, message consistency, and program sustainability. This means the awards are not merely recognition of creative communication, but validation of seriousness and integrity in implementing each initiative.
Consistency in Maintaining Quality and Contributing to Society
Furthermore, Mr. Sonny emphasized that the recognition received is the result of consistent efforts to maintain process quality and deliver meaningful contributions to society.
“In the healthcare industry, public trust is built on compliance, integrity, and tangible contributions. This recognition serves as a reminder for us to continue ensuring that every initiative delivers measurable impact while maintaining accurate and responsible communication,” he said.
Mr. Sonny added that in the era of information transparency, the public is increasingly critical in assessing the commitments of healthcare companies. Therefore, alignment between espoused values and concrete actions is a crucial factor in maintaining trust.
For Dexa Group, the awards reinforce trust from various stakeholders in the company’s communication standards. This recognition also encourages Dexa Group to continue safeguarding information accuracy, strengthening responsible communication practices, and contributing to the advancement of communication within Indonesia’s healthcare industry.
