Dexa Group achieved a remarkable milestone by receiving two prestigious awards in a single day, underscoring its commitment to ensuring halal assurance across all products and facilities. The recognitions came from Indonesia’s Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) and the Halal Inspection Body of the Institute for Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Studies (LPH LPPOM), both official institutions for halal certification.

The first recognition was the Indonesia Halal Industry Awards (IHYA) 2025 from the Ministry of Industry, where PT Dexa Medica was named Best Halal Pharmaceutical and Traditional Medicine Industry Company I. This award highlighted the company’s strong role in supporting Indonesia’s halal industry ecosystem.

dexagroup ihya 2025The award was presented to Mr. Jopie Johansyah, Sales Director of OGB-Zeta PT Dexa Medica, by Mrs. Evita Nursanty, Deputy Chairwoman of Commission VII of the House of Representatives, and witnessed directly by Minister of Industry Mr. Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Thursday (September 25, 2025).

“This achievement reflects Dexa’s commitment to delivering pharmaceutical products that are guaranteed in quality, safe, and halal for consumers—covering the entire process from raw material selection to the final product,” said Mr. Jopie after receiving the award.

In his remarks, Minister Agus Gumiwang highlighted Indonesia’s strong halal market potential. He emphasized that national economic growth in the future must be driven by the Islamic economy. “The Ministry sees both domestic and global demand for halal industries, creating significant economic and market potential,” he stated.

Dexa Group Recognized by LPH LPPOM

The second award came from LPH LPPOM at the LPPOM Excellence Gala 2025, where Dexa Group received the Corporate Halal Leadership Award in the Innovation – Research & Development category. The award was presented to Dexa Group’s leader, Mr. Ferry Soetikno, represented by Prof. Raymond Tjandrawinata, Business Development & Scientific Affairs Director of PT Dexa Medica, by Mr. Muslich, Director of Partnerships and Halal Audit Services at LPH LPPOM.

“Dexa Group began its commitment to obtaining halal certification for all products and facilities before 2019. This means our halal commitment has been carried out very seriously until today, and it represents a breakthrough for us,” said Prof. Raymond.

Mr. Muslich from LPH LPPOM further noted that the institution continues to encourage companies to innovate and strengthen halal supply chains.

“The goal is to create broad benefits for society. Therefore, beyond focusing on strengthening halal services, LPPOM is also deepening national and international partnerships to support Indonesia’s ambition to become the global hub for halal industries,” he stated.
