YOGYAKARTA – Dexa Medica’s free health screening program, Cek Segitiga, once again reached out to the people of Yogyakarta. Held at Alun-Alun Selatan on Sunday (June 22), the event revealed that over 60 percent of participants were classified as high-risk for chronic diseases—serving as a critical health alert for the urban population.
Held at Alun-alun Selatan Yogyakarta on Sunday, June 22, 2025, the event successfully attracted hundreds of local residents who were exercising and engaging in activities in the public area.
This time, Cek Segitiga collaborated with RS Ludira Husada Tama Yogyakarta and recorded participation from 811 residents, with 798 of them undergoing health screenings, including blood pressure, cholesterol, and random blood glucose checks. The number of participants significantly increased compared to the previous year, showing growing enthusiasm from the people of Yogyakarta.
Screening results showed that 60.65% of participants were in the high-risk category, meaning they had abnormal values in at least one of the three screening parameters.
The most commonly detected condition was hypertension, with 303 participants (44.6%) having blood pressure above the normal limit (≥140/90 mmHg). This was followed by high cholesterol in 235 participants (37.2%) and elevated random blood glucose in 124 participants (18.2%).
Head of Sales OGB PT Dexa Medica, Mr. Yulianto, stated that Cek Segitiga is part of Dexa’s tangible contribution in supporting the government’s promotive and preventive health efforts.
“This is the fifth screening point this year aimed at supporting the government’s programs,” he said.
Meanwhile, General Practitioner at RS Ludira Husada Tama Yogyakarta, Dr. Dwi Astuti, emphasized the importance of screening as an early step to detect chronic diseases that often show no symptoms.
“Chronic screenings are also recommended by the government. If detected early, they can be treated immediately. Nowadays, interventional diseases are decreasing, but chronic diseases are rising. So it’s important for the public to know their health status earlier,” she explained.

Online Consultation via dKonsul Eases Access to Medical Services
In this event, Dexa Medica also provided online doctor consultations via the dKonsul platform as part of its digital health service innovation. A total of 114 participants used the online consultation, and 73 digital prescriptions were issued—10 of which were redeemed on the spot.
Vice President of PT Global Urban Esensial (GUE), Mr. Mochammad Salahuddin, said that dKonsul aims to widen healthcare access.
“dKonsul is a teleconsultation service that’s part of Dexa Group. We aim to provide the broadest possible access for the public to receive free consultations with doctors. As part of dKonsul, we feel responsible to contribute meaningfully to the people of Indonesia,” he said.
High Public Enthusiasm, Building Awareness
Operations Director of PT Anugrah Argon Medica, Mr. Setyawan Pantja Yuwono, also stated that the program effectively raised public awareness of the importance of health.
“At each station, we could see their enthusiasm to get their health checked. They also received consultations based on their results. What does that mean? It shows that their concern for their own health is already very high,” he said.
One of the participants expressed appreciation for the free screening.
“We just got a free health check-up, which aligns with the government’s program. They checked our blood pressure and blood sugar, there were games, and we got juice—it’s really beneficial, because free check-ups like this are rare,” the visitor shared.
Commitment to The Reflection of Quality
Dharma Dexa Manager, Mr. Mateus Ramidi, explained that Cek Segitiga is designed to reach communities directly with a practical and impactful approach.
“We believe that big changes start with small steps, like health check-ups. This time we chose a public space like Alun-alun Selatan so that more people—especially those who have difficulty accessing healthcare services—could join,” he said.
This initiative also reflects Dexa Medica’s commitment to delivering *#CerminanKualitas*—a value that highlights that quality is not only about products but also about concrete actions that have a direct impact on society.
Since its first launch, Cek Segitiga has reached more than 7,400 people in major cities across Indonesia. Dexa Medica is committed to continuously expanding this program to support the national agenda in preventing non-communicable diseases and improving the quality of life of the people.
