Dexa Group has once again achieved a strategic milestone by receiving the Indonesia CEO Excellence Award 2025, organized by WartaEkonomi.co.id Research and Consulting. This award recognizes visionary leadership that consistently drives business sustainability while strengthening the pharmaceutical sector’s contribution to national health resilience.

The award was presented by Muhamad Ihsan, CEO & Chief Editor of WartaEkonomi.co.id, to Andy Samual, Director of Human Resources and General Affairs of Dexa Group, representing Dexa Group Leader Ferry Soetikno, at the ceremony held in Jakarta on Thursday, December 18, 2025. The presentation was witnessed by Fadel Muhammad, Founder of Warta Ekonomi and member of the Indonesian Regional Representative Council (DPD RI), as well as Ali Murtopo Simbolon, Deputy III of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs.

M. Ihsan explained that the Indonesia CEO Excellence Award 2025 was determined through a rigorous, data-driven selection process. “The assessment criteria include financial performance, leadership evaluation, and a strong focus on sustainability. The evaluation sources are based on media and social media coverage over the past year,” he stated.

Dexa Group Leader Ferry Soetikno emphasized that the award is the result of collective efforts by all Dexa employees. “This recognition reflects Dexa Group’s commitment to strengthening national health resilience through sustainable business practices. Let us continue to collaborate and reinforce the Right to Win spirit to achieve sustainable growth,” he said.

Meanwhile, Andy Samual highlighted that this achievement would not have been possible without the dedication and consistency of the entire team in implementing the company’s strategies and values.

“Guided by our Core Purpose, ‘Expertise for the Promotion of Health,’ Dexa Group remains committed to delivering innovative and sustainable healthcare solutions. This award serves as recognition of the dedication and contributions of all Dexa employees,” he added.

Challenges in the Transformation Era

Fadel Muhammad underscored the rapid changes in leadership dynamics driven by digitalization. “Transformation is accelerating as digitalization significantly influences behavior and business models. In our survey, 55 percent of CEOs are optimistic that future conditions will continue to improve,” he noted.

He stated that today’s challenges require courageous leadership. “The role of a CEO is not only to control but also to be directly involved in execution. Nearly 50 percent of a company’s performance is determined by the CEO,” he asserted.

At the same event, Ali Murtopo Simbolon conveyed the government’s optimism regarding national economic growth and the crucial role of businesses and CEOs in driving it.

“Our optimism toward achieving 8 percent economic growth is strong. Within the next two weeks, we are confident that growth of 5.2 percent can be achieved, followed by 5.4 percent next year, supported by healthy credit growth,” he explained.

He also highlighted the government’s strategy in activating three engines of economic growth, including the digital sector as a new growth driver. “The digital sector is being promoted as a new engine of growth through training, curation, and development programs so it can be effectively utilized by businesses. This requires collaboration between the government and CEOs,” he added.

The Indonesia CEO Excellence Award 2025 stands as recognition of Dexa Group’s leadership strength in navigating the transformation of the healthcare industry. More than that, it serves as a collective momentum for all Dexa employees to further strengthen the Right to Win spirit—through collaboration, innovation, and a sustained commitment to advancing healthcare in Indonesia.
