Dexa Laboratories of Biomolecular Sciences (DLBS) is a group of research institutions for the discovery, development and production of pharmaceuticals, bio-pharmaceuticals, and nutraceuticals.
Since its inception in 2005, DLBS has helped research, extract, and utilise natural ingredients, principally as bioactive ingredients in modern herbal medicines. In fact, all modern herbal medicines produced by Dexa Group have been researched by DLBS at its facilities in Indonesia. DLBS leverages Indonesia’s rich biodiversity, extracting bioactive ingredients from many life forms and other organic substances.

DLBS is home to some of the world’s most talented scientists and pharmacists. It also collaborates with — and trains — farmers to produce high-quality, standardized, natural ingredients. In this way, it continues to add value to the local ecosystem.

DLBS research meets, and often exceeds, the highest standards of scientific rigour, and all its products are equipped with strong molecular and clinical evidence. The group frequently collaborates with partner research centres all over the world, including with highly-regarded institutions of excellence in dozens of countries around the world, including the United States, Singapore, and Indonesia.

The Dexa Development Center serves as the Dexa Group’s innovation and new product development hub. The Dexa Group develops medicine formulations in this cutting-edge, two-hectare complex. Dexa Group’s vast, skilled research team has the capacity to create market-acceptable product formulations by efficiently developing them. Collaborations with more than ten top-tier pharmaceutical research alliances have been very successful, primarily due to the Dexa Development Center.
